Our most commonly used Grade in the Marine sector, used worldwide, is the material Grade T100MP.

Tufcot®  T100 Grade Variations

Every T100 range of materials uses a polyester based resin system and the various grades we produce has a different solid lubricant that is added to further enhance the standard resin range and open this up to more applications at a better co-efficient of friction level.

Our T100MP Grade can operate at 100 degrees Celsius in certain applications and conditions, but we recommend a maximum of 80 degrees Celsius for constant running applications.

Tufcot have recorded figures of between 0.1 and 0.12 for the co-efficient of friction value against stainless steel.

These figures were present when we achieved our Lloyds approval for the sector.
