Blazer Marine was founded in 2012 by K.J. Roy, a naval architect with over 3 decades of experience in the Middle East.

The company has earned a solid reputation for manufacturing and maintaining complete shaftlines including propellers, shafts, bearings, seals, couplings and steering gear and is equipped with ISO-certified in-house machining and repair facilities. With class-approved repairs and over four decades of combined technical expertise, Blazer Marine is a trusted partner to major shipyards and operators throughout the region.

First Projects Already Underway

The collaboration is already picking up speed with three exciting projects in progress:

  • A 35-metre superyacht refit where Tufcot® T100 Marine bearings are being installed using precise freeze-fit techniques.

  • Two new-build aluminium crew boats built under BV Class, marking the first time Tufcot® products have been used in new vessel construction in the UAE.

  • A Viking 66’ Sportfish yacht – a sterngear maintenance programme where precision-machined Tufcot® T100 bearings were installed in both P-brackets and sterntubes, replacing cutlass bearings.

We expect these projects to be completed by mid-October and we hope there are many more to come!

The Dubai Pre-Owned Boat Show
