This year, Tufcot’s employees voted, once again, for the amazing Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice as our charity of the year.

Bluebell Wood captured all of our hearts back in 2019 after we saw what an incredible place it is.

Bluebell Wood’s Essential Work

Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice cares for children and young adults whose lives are sadly just too short.

It provides essential support for all of the families too.

When some of our team went to visit and volunteer at the Hospice in 2019, and from speaking to their team, the work they do is truly inspirational.

Providing not only support and care but unforgettable memories for those families.

The hospice needs to raise £14,000 a day to keep its doors open.

Our aim this year is to do our best to support them!

Fundraising is already in full swing here at Tufcot, we held an Eggcellent Easter event and a Spring raffle earlier in the year.

How We are Helping Raise Funds

The hospice organises many fundraising events which we have signed up to, namely:

  • Tracy, on our fundraising team, is participating in the 25km Peak District Challenge in July.
  • We have the Dragon Boat Race on the 18th of September.
  • A few of the team’s braver members are taking on the 6km Mud Madness Challenge in November.

Tufcot will also run more in-house events throughout the year, and we appreciate any donations and support from employees, customers and/or suppliers throughout 2021.
